The “Spot Squat”

A comfortable neck and shoulder pad for performing squat exercises.
Proper form for squat lifting can be tricky and intimidating, and many consumers are not aware they are working the exercise improperly.

From our observation and interviews, members at health clubs are dissatisfied with the roll pad health clubs provide for the squat bar, and (especially women) many avoid this lower body workout.

Although we do not advocate improper technique, it happens!

The “Spot Squat” is designed to add support and absorb pressure when performing squat exercises, and will reduce the risk of injury if the novice lifter does not position the squat bar properly. Should the Spot Squat rotate (as the roll style often does) there will not be any exposed bar areas that are in direct contact with the shoulder or neck, and it will not detach itself from the bar.

The visual alone of the “Spot Squat” is an invitation to work this exercise.
